Noortje was born and bred in Holland. She is a dentist with a passion for travel, has seen every corner of the world and speaks several languages.
Noortje did some voluntary work fixing teeth for people in Arusha before joining Planet Africa. She has a lot of respect for elephants and makes no bones about the fact that she prefers a comfy camp to roughing it - bugs in particular are something she likes to avoid. A love for seafood and swimming mean that Noortje will convince you that Zanzibar is a must-see. With her trademark, big sunglasses she wears to protect against the dust on safari, at the end of a day in the bush she loves to return to a hot shower in camp.
Noortje has since moved back to Holland to pursue her career in dentistry but continues to sell holidays for Planet Africa Safaris in her spare time.
