Jackson is a veteran in the safari industry with over a decade’s worth of experience. He has a vast knowledge of the south of Tanzania – mainly in Selous, Mikumi, Udzungwa and Ruaha, as well as southern Luangwa in Zambia. He also knows the northern circuit very well, and has been to every single national park in the country.
Jackson’s favourite animal is the giraffe, not only because of its elegance, but also because they are Tanzania’s national animal. As a proud local, Jackson has a passion for all things Tanzanian including ugali (maize porridge) and ndizi (cooked banana) – classic local food that he grew up on.
In his free time Jackson enjoys listening to church choirs - “I don’t sing myself because I have no time to practice.” Probably because he’s always too busy enlightening guests on the intricacies of the bush.
