Ngugi was born in Dodoma, Tanzania although he grew up in Nakuru, Kenya. He has a degree in accounting, a master’s degree in marketing and speaks Kikuyu, Swahili, English and Portuguese fluently as well as intermediate Spanish and some French.
Having worked in Zambia, Mozambique and Zimbabwe and traveled to most countries in Southern Africa, Ngugi’s knowledge of this part of the continent is vast. He loves his job as he gets great satisfaction from seeing others satisfied. As for wildlife, Ngugi’s favourite animal is the cheetah, but you won’t catch him near any snakes.
