Ruaha National Park
Even though Ruaha National Park in Southern central Tanzania is not particularly well known, it is in fact Tanzania's second largest national park. The Great Ruaha River is the dominant feature in this stunning landscape. Ruaha remains one of Tanzania's least accessible parks making it largely untouched and wild. There are roughly 350 species of bird not found in northern Tanzania, as well as big game – elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, lion, cheetah, African Wild Dog, Greater Kudu, the list goes on…
This park, which can only be accessed by plane is second only to Katavi when it comes to pristine wilderness. If you want to explore this park in the heart of central Tanzania, then allow us to arrange an incredible trip to Ruaha for you.
