4 Country Mega-Safari
The recent addition of a commercial direct flight between Nairobi (Kenya) and Livingstone (Zambia) has now made it realistic and easy to join up the absolute finest wildlife strongholds of sub-Saharan Africa. Touching on all the wildlife flagships – Maasai Mara, Victoria Falls, Greater Okavango Delta, and Greater Kruger Park – this is the consummate safari for either a connoisseur or someone who thinks (it’s never the case!) that this will be the only safari of their life.
While it makes for a busy trip, it is highly rewarding, and a tremendous year-round safari extravaganza. Extensions abound as well; consider Cape Town, Zanzibar, the Kalahari, or even Tanzania to make this grand adventure even more phenomenal!

Depending on what time of year you travel, we will recommend the best areas and camps to visit and which parts of the Serengeti National Park to go to in order to have the best chance of seeing the migration. We want to make sure that you have the best chance of seeing a lot of game - the migration is more than just wildebeest – it means predator action, and generally a huge congregation of all kinds of mammals!
From mid July to October, the migration is usually concentrated in the the northern part of the Serengeti and the wildebeest accumulate in the Mara River area. From December to March, the migration is usually located in the Southern Serengeti where the wildebeest congregate for calving season. Some of the camps (like Olakira) move twice a year to follow the migration, so will be located either in Southern or Northern Serengeti depending on when you visit. At other times of the year, the migration won't be so concentrated, but there is still plenty of game in the Serengeti - we will advise the most appropriate locations to visit.
