Africa is a coveted honeymoon destination, and those in the know report that this unique destination delivers all one wants – and more – for a romantic celebration. It’s something about the endless quiet, the remoteness, or perhaps the sense that a wild encounter is imminent, that creates an unforgettable atmosphere in the bush.
We welcome you to spoil yourself with decadent lodgings, or enjoy an authentic pared down tented camp experience. You dream up the experience, we will orchestrate it for you – and throw in a few very pleasant surprises along the way.
Our suggested itineraries are very high-end and created for the ultimate luxurious yet authentic experience. We can also create a very romantic getaway using more reasonable lodges; contact us to discuss how to tailor your own honeymoon.

Depending on what time of year you travel, we will recommend the best areas and camps to visit and which parts of the Serengeti National Park to go to in order to have the best chance of seeing the migration. We want to make sure that you have the best chance of seeing a lot of game - the migration is more than just wildebeest – it means predator action, and generally a huge congregation of all kinds of mammals!
From mid July to October, the migration is usually concentrated in the the northern part of the Serengeti and the wildebeest accumulate in the Mara River area. From December to March, the migration is usually located in the Southern Serengeti where the wildebeest congregate for calving season. Some of the camps (like Olakira) move twice a year to follow the migration, so will be located either in Southern or Northern Serengeti depending on when you visit. At other times of the year, the migration won't be so concentrated, but there is still plenty of game in the Serengeti - we will advise the most appropriate locations to visit.
