In a park known for its pretty bush camps, Mchenja manages to stand out from the crowns. Elegantly understated, each of the five rooms is draped in white linen, and filled with wrought-iron furniture. Free-standing Victorian bathtubs look out over the Luangwa River, and the bathrooms are spacious with hot outdoor showers. All rooms can be doubles or twins, and there’s connecting family room too.
Activities focus on walking safaris in the morning, usually along the river bank, to discover the smaller creatures of the bush. Game drives take place in the late afternoon and continue into the evening, in an area renowned for its prolific lion and leopard sightings.make an Enquiry
